This novella is a continuation of Greg Cage and Melissa's story told mostly from Greg's point of view with a little of Melissa's point of view and Cohen' point of view. This is meant to be read in order after the other books in the series and should not be read as a solo book.
The Cage family is expecting and bring us along for the ride. When tragedy strikes, the humor and love and bond that the family has grows stronger. The Corps Security team is also along for the ride and make brief appearances as does Sway and even Maddox.
This novella had me laughing and crying... hell, it gutted me for a bit. Harper Sloan sure can write characters that can be all alpha, but also sweet and kind and loving... tender, and emotional. She's become one of my favorite authors.
