Review: Breaking Spades by W. Ferraro

Breaking Spades (Hamden, #4)Breaking Spades by W. Ferraro
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spoilers may be ahead - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !!!

Another Hamden man... troubled in his own way, demons of his own to battle, makes a huge mistake thirteen years prior when he loves and leaves a girl. That girl - CeCe - manages to get past the hurt he made her feel and move on with her life. Flash forward thirteen years. CeCe has her own clothing store, is successful, and seeing someone. When someone starts stalking her, her self-appointed big brother calls his PI friend to take the case. Not knowing just what happened between the PI and CeCe all those years ago.

CeCe and Jarod keep their walls up, but slowly they break the walls down. They battle each other every way while the stalker continues to lurk.

It all comes to a head and when it does, you'll need tissues.

So now that I've read all four of these books... my Hamden men order is 1. Dylan; 2. Jarod; 3. Wes; 4. Seth. If there are any more Hamden men coming, I'm anxiously waiting!
