Jamie and Ryan --- Nikki's best friend and Damien's head of security.
Jamie and Ryan are in charge of Nikki and Damien's wedding and cleanup. Jamie's set on heading back to Texas and sticking to "The Plan". Ryan coyly plays with her and when she gives in, he says no.
After one night, she takes off (escapes) to Vegas with Ryan not far behind. He comes to her rescue, takes her to Vegas and treats her like a queen. They get to know each other.
Jamie doesn't want to get too attached and refuses to fall... Ryan falls even thought they agree that this is just sex. Yada Yada Yada... this takes place over three-ish days.
Are the scenes hot? Some of them.
In case you are not aware --- this is a NOVELLA... not a full length novel and that was a disappointment for me. I felt the story was rushed and if I had a physical copy of the book, I probably would have thrown it a few times out of frustration and disappointment. Book could have been better.
