Shattered Ink by Laura Wright
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a continuation of Rush and Addison's story from First Ink. Rush and Addison decide to give their relationship another try but obstacles stand in their way beginning with it being a long distance relationship as she's still in college, his ex, and Addison's insecurities.
As with First Ink, you get both his side and her side of their story.
We also get more of Lisa (her best friend) and Vincent (his best friend) and what goes on between those two as an introduction into "Rebel Ink".
While both First Ink and Shattered Ink were too short in my opinion, I was caught up in each book, wanting and hoping that Rush and Addison would have a HEA. Do they? You should read the book to find out for yourself.

REVIEW: First Ink - Laura Wright
First Ink by Laura Wright
Book read in March, 2014
Addison - broke Rush's heart one day in high school. Cannot forget him and follows his career while she attends college. She thinks the only way to ask for his forgiveness for hurting him is by having him ink her with her first tattoo.
Rush - After being rejected by Addison, Rush gets outta dodge, starts Wicked Ink and becomes an established, sought after Tattoo artist.
When Addison shows up at a convention where he is giving away tattoos, she is chosen as his last canvas of the day. Rush decides the tattoo he will put on her and it's something he won't let her see.
The tension and story line amp up from there. Does this tattoo end up being a revenge tattoo that pushes them further apart or a tattoo that brings them together again?
A friend recommended this book to me late last year, but I had it on my TBR for awhile and then decided to read it after a few others said it was a great, quick read. I found myself grasped in their story and rooting for them both.
